I wish this was a joke. Let The Catcher in the Rye remain as a beautiful piece of literature rather than attempt to make a generation obsessed with high school musical understand the depth of this novel. Rest in peace J.D. Salinger. I really hope the film Jerry Bruckheimer is producing will do you justice. Thank you for numerous inspiring words you left behind. You are greatly missed.
